We are having a great time at Deep Water these days as more and more people come out each week. Seating is becoming limited and we are working on plans to move into a larger theatre but in the meantime we are looking for some of you who are regulars and who are committed to the mission of Deep Water to intentionally sit in the lower section of seats to free up some room for our guests further back. This is a pretty sweet problem to have!
This Week
They say money can't buy happiness. Turns out it can't buy meaning or security either. This we will be exploring the meaninglessness of a life lived in pursuit of wealth.
New to Deep Water?
Then this event is for you. (New = never been to one of these events before) Come to The Carleton (corner of Argyle and Prince) after church (1pm) on Dec 7th for some appetizers and chance to learn more about Deep Water, why we exist, how you can get more involved with things like small groups, compassionate ministries, and helping to make Sundays happen. It's a low key, no obligation opportunity for you to have any questions answered and to dive deeper into what it means to be part of the Deep Water community.
The event is free (if you want to purchase soft drinks you may) but we need to know how many to plan for so please RSVP by responding to this email. See you there, it's going to be a good time.
It's Squash Time Again
Fun Squash Event for beginners and more experienced players. Learn the game or participate in a tournament against players of similar skill levels. Sunday December 7th at 6:00-9:30 pm. Cost: $15.00 Proceeds to raise money for helping impoverished people around the world through the Samaritan's Purse international gift program.
