I'm off this week to our denominations regional pastors gathering. It will be great to see lots of old friends and catch up with folks. And catch this - they asked me to speak. I know, I'm shocked as well. I'll have fun, can’t speak for everyone else but... Please pray for me. While I'm away I hope to have email access but probably not as regularly as when I'm home so if I'm a bit slow getting back to you on something that's why. Although I'm looking forward to this trip I'm infinitely more excited for:

Is going to be awesome. In addition to the great music and relevant message you have come to expect we will be doing some fun stuff to go along with our big premier worship gathering in the new theatre and there will be popcorn. We will be starting our new series "Pray Like Jesus". Come find out what prayer and Lego have in common and learn how to move beyond just quoting the Lord's prayer to really praying the way Jesus taught us. There has never been a better week to invite a friend to come with you to Deep Water. Take the time this week to ask someone to come with you. We will have some sweet swag for first time visitors this week.

We had a great time Sunday talking about how we all have a role to play in God's work in this world and more specifically through Deep Water in this city.
