WOW!!! We had a great launch on Sunday. It's pretty amazing to think we are off and running already, I'm stoked. We had a great time together despite the carnage that the storm left behind (let's all have a moment of silence for Bryan Wiens' BBQ) and there was a great turn out with lots of new guests present and several old friends and supporters. I was also great to see so many Operation Christmas Child Boxes headed off to under-resourced kids around the world. What an awesome statement of our commitment to be meaningfully engaged with the poor. Thanks again to everyone who worked so hard to see this day happen. You rock.

I know several of you took some pictures of the day Sunday. If you cold send me those it would be great. I would like to see them and I'd like to use some of them in a newsletter I'll be sending out to the prayer and financial supporters of Deep Water. I intend to send that letter out within the next few days. You can email them to me here.

Great job inviting people out last Sunday - let's keep it up. Invitations are available at the Welcome Center each week if you need more. It's our intention to make each week at Deep Water a good week to bring a friend so keep inviting.
