I have a confession to make. I underestimated you. I thought with the weather we had on Sunday most of you would wimp out and stay home but we had a great crowd on Sunday. The band did this stripped down acoustic deal that was awesome and poor B-weezie got pretty much ignored by Argyle Mike and Idea Guy. Great day.

This Sunday
I am super excited for this week. We are looking at the least told version of the Christmas story in all of scripture and I believe we will leave with a new, deeper, and different understanding of why Jesus came to earth. Come and bring a friend.

Sabbath Sunday
There are many volunteers who work crazy hard each week to make our Worship Gathering happen. We are all for working hard on the mission God has given us but we also understand that intentional periods of rest ('sabbaths' if you need the bible word) are important and so each year we take the last Sunday of the year off to rest, relax, and get ready to give it everything we have for the next 51. That means there will be no Worship Gathering on Sunday Dec 27th. Visit another church with some friends or family, take the morning to spend some time with God (maybe do that mini-retreat you never got around to) or even just sleep in. Then show up Jan 3rd ready for another great year of following Jesus together.
