Easter was awesome at Deep Water. Great crowd, great music, great LOST clip, and great reason to celebrate. We are having tons of fun at Deep Water these days. And the hits just keep on coming – April 26th is Baptism Sunday. Check it out below.
This Week
We head back into our "Into the Fray" series through the book of Ephesians looking at how following Jesus requires a new way of thinking. We will also be showing a clip that I believe to be the greatest moment in cinematic history. Some of you might disagree. You would be wrong.
BAPTISM PARTY - SUNDAY APRIL 26th
We are going to have an awesome time celebrating the Baptism of several (it's looking like at least 10!) of our fellow Deep Water folks. It's going to a party with lots of singing, cheering (feel free to bring noise makers), and make your own Sundaes! Go ahead and get stoked, it's cool. The Baptism party is our worship gathering for that week. There is nothing at the theatre that morning.
When: Sunday April 26th from 2:30 to 4:30
Where: Faith Tabernacle Church – 6222 Summit Street (corner of Windsor St)
Traveling by Bus? Check hbus.ca
Who: Everybody. Make it a point to be there and bring a friend.
Why: Because Jesus taught us to and people have used this as a way to say I follow Jesus since the day Jesus was Baptized.
What: A Baptism Party, come on, pay attention : )

New Small Group
There is a new small group starting this week at the home of Roni and Trevor Orser (Roni will be leading the group) at 33 Chebucto Circle in Eastern Passage. This group will meet Thursday’s at 6pm and kids are welcome. If you are interested in joining the group or want more information contact Roni.
Baby Shower
There will be a baby shower for Sarah Addie Saturday, April 18th at 2:30 pm at 73 Westfield Cres, Dartmouth. This is a necessities shower: diapers up to 4 months size, wipes, creams, lotions etc. For questions or more information contact Brenda Landry.
