CHANGE OF PLANS! PLEASE NOTE!!!
The FEED NOVA SCOTIA event scheduled for this Saturday, April 19 is RESCHEDULED. There is no event this Saturday.
On May 3 Deep Water will have 2 teams working on FEED NOVA SCOTIA projects.
Project Food Drive* will meet at 9:45am at 6 Langbrae Drive, Apartment 309 and go door to door collecting food for FEED NOVA SCOTIA. This will be lead by Heather Trites and will go from 9:45am until about 1pm.
*Some Project Food Drive members will be meeting on Saturday, April 26 at 3pm to pass out fliers marketing the food drive. Anyone interested in helping is welcome to participate.
Project Reclamation will meet at noon at 213 Bedford Highway to do food item sorting and reclamation. This will go from 11:45am until 3pm.
Both will be awesome. Please email Bryan to confirm which project you and the people you invite will be a part of. We need to have a sense of who will be doing which project, so please email to confirm.
This Week
We move on to the second section of Romans 8 and will be talking about the eschatological implications of the Christ event for both the fallen-ness of creation and our own personal theodicy. Spoiler Alert!!! - Turns out Jesus fixes everything.
Dive Party - April 19th
This is going to be a great time of hanging out, eating, and getting to know each other better. If you have questions about where Deep Water came from, what we do, how to get more involved, or you just want to came and have a good time getting to know some more folks who call Deep Water home please come on out. As it says below please make sure you RSVP so we can make enough food for everyone. This is a kid friendly event so feel free to bring them along.
Dive Parties are a new monthly event at Deep Water. Dive is a time for people who are newer to this church to find out more about Deep Water like why and how we got started, what our mission is, and how you can get more fully involved and active. It's pretty informal and we have lots of fun. This months details are:
- When: April 19th, 4-6pm (officially but you can hang out longer if you want)
- Where: 197 States Lane, Beechville. (the van Gennip's home)
- Cost: Nope
- RSVP: Please let us know if you are planning to come so we can make sure we have enough food
