If you missed the St Patrick's Day party you missed a great time. I personally enjoyed the trivia contest, it was lots of fun and there was chocolate. That should be a game show - Trivia and Chocolate. It was a great kick off to our international partnership and it's going to be awesome to see how things continue to unfold for this in the future.

In the never-ending saga of who goes to Deep Water that I have known since before I turned 20... Upon even further reflection it occurs to me that there are not 7, not 8, but 9, yes 9 (I sound like an infomercial) people I have known since before I was 20; Chris Churchill, Ceri Fletcher, Karl Cheney, Roni Orser, Heidi Bird, Dean Landry, Trevor Orser, Brenda Landry, Robin Ogilvie. If you are new to "The Loop" and are wondering what this is all about I have honestly forgotten but I think it started a few weeks ago when I turned 30... Oh yes, that's it, it was a trivia question, we had trivia but no chocolate. That's probably why it didn't catch on and become a cultural phenomenon. Tune in next week to see if I can think of a tenth person!!! (I know, the suspense is killer)
Next Week: Honest to God About Our Questions
Sometimes when we pray it seems like God isn't there or that he isn't doing anything and we start to wonder what's going on. Next week we are going to talk about those types of situations and how we handle them by looking at one of the statements Jesus made on the cross and the Psalm he was quoting at the time. Plus its Easter so come on out and celebrate.

Good Friday Service
We will be hosting a combined Good Friday Worship Gathering with Hillside Wesleyan and Metro Wesleyan on March 21st at 10:30am at the theatre. Good Friday is always a very meaningful time. It's an honor for us to be hosting Hillside and Metro as both of these churches help back Deep Water financially and it's a great chance for them to get a sense of what Sunday at Deep Water looks like. We hope to see everyone there.
