Robin and Bryan shared some great stuff with us last night about Deep Water's promotion strategy called "Deep Water One Degree". It's all about putting tools in our hands that make it as easy as possible to invite those within one degree of separation from us (friends, family, co-workers, classmates) to check out Deep Water.
Promotion Homework
Alright team, here's your chance to help shape the way we promote Deep Water to our One Degree. It's up to us to get the word out, and every one of us has something unique we can offer. With that said, there are three questions that you need to answer about how you plan to make this happen. If you're on the launch team, you need to take a few minutes to think about how this will look in your own circle of influence, and email your replies to Robin. We need your input!
- What kinds of people do I plan to invite to Deep Water activities?
- What types of activities do I think they'd be interested in being part of?
- What could Deep Water do to better enable me to invite people?
Venue
Still waiting to hear back from Empire Park Lane. It seems we got bumped in the shuffle with the film festival. I expect to hear word sometime this week.
Next Weeks Discussion
Last week we talked about how we get people through the door this week Dan & Kelly Ogden, our Connection ministry leaders, will be leading our discussion and we will be asking, "now what do we do?" To get primed for this discussion kick around the following questions this week:
1. As a first time visitor what is most likely to make me uncomfortable or weird?
2. As a first time visitor what is most likely to help me feel relaxed, welcome, and comfortable?
3. If I was not a follower of Jesus and I was visiting a church for the first time what would I hope to experience?
