Special thanks to Dan and Kelly Ogden for leading us in an interesting a refreshing discussion of what a visitor experiences their first week in church and how we can best serve them by making then feel comfortable and how we can encourage them to stay connected. I got home late Saturday night from a Worship Arts Conference and I'm Headed out tomorrow to our annual district pastors gathering. I'll get home Thursday and Saturday I'll head down to Brazil Lake for Sunday worship after which I'll beat it home for Launch Team Meeting. Please pray that God will keep me safe in these travels, give me energy for my tasks and make me effective and productive in what I'm doing. I'll have my phone and computer with me in all these places so I can be contacted but I may not be able to get back to you as promptly as usual.

Alright team, here's your chance to help shape the way we promote Deep Water to our One Degree. It's up to us to get the word out, and every one of us has something unique we can offer. With that said, there are three questions that you need to answer about how you plan to make this happen. If you're on the launch team, you need to take a few minutes to think about how this will look in your own circle of influence, and email your replies to Robin. We need your input!

1. What kinds of people do I plan to invite to Deep Water activities?
2. What types of activities do I think they'd be interested in being part of?
3. What could Deep Water do to better enable me to invite people?

Stuff on the venue continues to move forward. Jim from Park Lane actually emailed me during the meeting last night to begin to work out the details.

Next week is going to be a very special time of prayer, worship, and celebrating the Lord's Supper. Please bring your "Fish List" as we will be praying for those we know God wants to use us to reach. Bryan will be sharing with us about our compassionate ministries.

Everyone who doesn't have thanksgiving family commitments at this time is invited to come hang out at the MacLeod's at 29 Deerbrooke, Colby and enjoy some desserts and good times. Feel free to bring your favorite dessert or just come and enjoy the spread.

Areas to be praying over:

• That the last few steps toward a confirmed venue would go smoothly and favorably
• For God to provide us with a worship leader
• For God to supply the funds for our start up costs (sound system, nursery stuff, etc)
• That God would give us boldness as we invite those in our "One Degree" to Deep Water
• For God's continued wisdom and creativity for our ministry leaders as they begin to build their teams in the coming weeks and for all of us to have wisdom and a sense of the Spirits leading about where we serve
• For me as I head to Brazil Lake to speak to the church there about Deep Water
