Hello Deep Water! If this is the first installment of "The Loop" you have received welcome, we're glad to have you. There is lots and lots to read up on this week so I'll let you get right to it. Have a great week and see you Sunday.

Is the final installment in Part 1 of our series through Romans (we will resume after the next series - see below). It's going to be a fun time of celebrating what Jesus has done for us. You will want to have read up to the end of Chapter 5.

Starting March 2nd we will be doing a three week series called "Honest to God". We are going to be answering some foundational questions about how we as people communicate with God and we will explore the idea that at it's heart praying "right" is not about a ritual or a formula it's about being brutally open with God. This series will help some of us who have been following Jesus for years a fresh understanding of what it really means to talk to God and it will also be a great introduction to God and prayer for folks who are seeking. Why not invite a friend who isn't a follower of Jesus to come with you to Deep Water on March 2nd. As a special bonus we have a guest speaker to kick the series off - Rob McDowell. Rob is a long time friend of mine and great communicator.

Once again Jennifer vanGennip has worked her magic to produce the Sunday Morning Ministry schedule for this month. That's the document that let's you know when you are serving where and keeps straight the nearly 40 volunteer positions that are required on any given Sunday. Make sure you check it carefully so you will know when to be where. If you haven't gotten involved in some what yet why not? Let us know you are interested and we would love to get you plugged in!

Small Groups are up and running and we are having a great time. If you haven't gotten involved yet there is still time, you'll find a list of the groups below and if you have additional questions or need more information contact me or one of the group leaders.

We will be hosting a combined Good Friday Worship Gathering with Hillside Wesleyan and Metro Wesleyan on March 21st at 10:30am at the theatre. Good Friday is always a very meaningful time. It's an honor for us to be hosting Hillside and Metro as both of these churches help back Deep Water financially and it's a great chance for them to get a sense of what Sunday at Deep Water looks like. We hope to see everyone there.
