I have contracted head cold death and so please forgive me for keeping this brief. With all this nastiness in my head there is little room for long trains of thought. Good Friday was crazy. A massive crowd with people packed in. It was great to see just how that space will look and feel when we are filling it each Sunday. Resurrection Sunday was awesome too, even 94 year old Grammy Bain said she loved it, which I think makes her pretty much the coolest ever.
This Week - The Return of Romans
On Sunday we will be Jumping back into the book of Romans. This week we will be talking about what it means to be “free from Sin”. Plus I will be in restraints. If you are reading ahead you will want to be done chapter 6.
April 19th – Mark it Down
That Saturday is going to be a big one for us with two awesome back to back events. First off we will be helping Feed Nova Scotia at their 213 Bedford Highway warehouse from 11-3. This would be a great event to invite your friends to as we have a great time helping a great cause. Please be on time as there is generally an orientation/training session at the front end so we will know what we are doing.
Later that day we will be having a party called Dive. Dive is especially for those who are newer to Deep Water and are looking for a chance to learn more about who we are, what we are about, and how to get involved. It's also a great chance to meet some folks and have some fun. Further details will be coming out over the next couple of weeks.
