We had an awesome time on Sunday. Although I love Napoleon Dynamite I have to say my favorite part of the day was Edmund on the fiddle. Awesome stuff. A special thanks to those of you who chose to come out for the first time last week and we hope to see you again next week.

This Week

We continue our series Kingdom Inc talking about the Bible, why it matters and why we should invest ourselves in it. Ever wonder how we got the Bible and how we decided what books went into it? Rod MacKenzie has put together a great little article for us outlining just that. Check it out here.

Sunday Schedule

The new schedule for who is on when doing what on Sunday Mornings for the next month is out now. If you serve in any way on Sundays please check the schedule to know when you are on. You can check it out here.

Gathering for Prayer

Those who are able are invited to join us for a time of praying for the mission of Deep Water and the folks in our city who do not know Jesus. We will be meeting this Friday night at 10:30pm at the home of Bryan Wiens, 122 Beechtree Run, Beechville.

Upstream Update

Upstream's theme this month is humility and in order to show the children an example of how to apply humility in real life we are going to host a ministry project of our own. Throughout the month of June as students finish up school we will be collecting items to help less fortunate children and families prepare for the next school year by collecting as many school supplies as possible. The cost of school supplies for some may seem like a small expense, however for others it may be difficult or even impossible to come up with the money to purchase the supplies needed to send their children to school. In addition to asking the children to bring in school supplies I would like to ask each of you to bring in one or two items to help us with this ministry project. There will be a school bag set up in the theatre each Sunday in June where you can place the school supplies, and details forthcoming about which supplies are most specifically needed. Thank you!!

And now you're in the loop.
