Sunday was awesome. It was so exciting to be a part of 10 Baptisms. If you missed it I recommend you sign up for a yoga class. This will drastically increase your flexibility and allow you to kick yourself. It was great. We will be doing it again sometime in the not to distant future. If you are interested in being Baptized the next time around let me know.

We dive back into our "Into the Fray" series through the book of Ephesians and will be treated to a stunning re-enactment of a TV commercial that will bring back warm/frightening/hilarious memories for many.
Feed NS Community Food Drive

We will be handing out flyers one week in advance, on Saturday, May 9, at 9:30am. Handing out flyers doesn't take too long. We are just throwing them in people's mailboxes. We will meet at 9:15am, at Colby Village Elementary School, for this as well. The more people we have the faster/easier this goes.
Baby Shower
Kery-Ann and Robin Ogilvie are due to deliver a baby girl named "London Elise" at the end of May (which is fast approaching!). There will be an opportunity to celebrate and welcome a new member into our church family in the form of a baby shower at the house of Carolyn and Geoff Fifield (34 Limardo Dr, Dartmouth) on Saturday May 2nd starting at 2pm.
Just bring yourselves and, if you like, a SMALL snack to share. Also, if you feel in the gift-giving mood, Kery-Ann already has tons of baby clothes, newborn diapers, and receiving blankets for the new arrival. She is registered at Babies R Us for still needed items and is hoping to purchase a jogging stroller. Monetary gifts will be put toward larger ticket items and books are, of course, always a great idea.
