April 30, 2008

Greetings and salutations, we had an awesome time on Saturday handing out flyers for the food drive this week. I think my son Micah would have done every house in Clayton Park if we would have had enough. I encourage you, whether it’s with the food drive or the food sorting, to come on out this Saturday and show the love of Jesus by helping Feed Nova Scotia provide food to the folks in our community who don't have enough to eat.

I'm also asking you to pray for me this week. I'll be in New Brunswick on Friday night and Saturday speaking at a youth rally. Please ask God to help and use me and speak through me to the teens that I have the privilege of sharing his Word with.

This Week

We start a new series called "Kingdom Inc. The Investment of a Lifetime". And it’s all about how we practically live out giving out lives to Jesus. A new series is always a great time to invite a friend along for the first time, why not ask someone to come with you this week.

Small Groups

The beginning of this new series is a great time to join a small group. Small Groups are a chance to think through, discuss, and explore how to live out what we are talking about on Sundays. Plus they are just a good time. If you want to get involved you can contact me and I'll help you jump in or you can just pick a group and show up. All of our groups are open to anyone.
