Another cool Sunday Yesterday and I couldn't be more stoked. We had a couple of families with us on Sunday for the first time who have expressed a clear intention to be a part of Deep Water, Awesome! We definitely have a few more kinks to work out with the set-up and tear down process but I think we are starting to hit our stride and are definitely ready for launch on Sunday. Yea, that's right. Deep Water Church is born in 4 days. Pray hard!

I would love to see everyone on the launch team there this Sunday and I would be great if you could all arrive by 9:30. We will be having a time of prayer then and I think it's important that we take this one last opportunity before launch to pray together, commit Deep Water to the Lord, and ask Him to bless us as a church as we follow His Will. We will probably meet out in the lobby so that the folks doing childcare can be a part of things.

This Sunday after the Worship Gathering we will be having a party. We want to celebrate and thank God for what he has done, look forward to the future, and just have a good time together. The Specifics are a surprise but here is what you need to know:

• We will head to the location of the party together after the worship gathering (between 12:30 and 1)
• We will be buying our own lunches so bring some money. Prices range from about 8-16 dollars with kids under 5 eating free and there being some half-price options for kids under 12. If this expense would be prohibitive to your family please let me know and we will make it possible for you to attend. I don't want anyone to miss this celebration
• We should be done and on our way no later than 3pm
• This is going to be a lot of fun and a really special time together.

The invitations are in and if you didn't get yours on Sunday you can pick them up from Robin Ogilvie. Contact him to arrange a time. Let's be using these and inviting our friends and neighbors out to launch this Sunday.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD BOXES

Please be sure to bring your filled Operation Christmas Child boxes on Sunday morning. We will be piling them at the front of the theatre and praying for the kids who will be receiving them. The location for the group box packing has changed. We will be meeting at Bryan's house, 122 Beech Tree Run, at 7:30pm on Thursday night (Nov 1). This time is for us to bring our friends who we have worked with getting the materials for the boxes, and pack our boxes as a group activity. This will allow you to introduce your friend to other Deep Water people in a relaxed environment. Please email Bryan if you are planning to attend (and please bring snacks).

This Saturday night at 9pm I will be doing a prayer walk around Spring Garden Rd and Park Lane Mall asking God to move in this city and to use us in that location to share the gospel with the lost. I invite you to join me if you are interested. We will meet at the Spring Garden Rd entrance to Park Lane Mall and make our way out from there. You won't need to pray out loud if that's not something you are comfortable with. We will simply walk around the neighborhood praying silently and sometimes as a group. Let me know if you are planning to come so I can keep an eye out for you. Whether you can make it out or not please continue to pray that God would use us to reach people in this city for Him, that those we invite to launch would come, and that we would have the serve God and our neighbors well together.

P.S. Don't forget that this Sunday is the time change when we "fall back" an hour, so no one has any excuses for being late!
