When you put your trust in Jesus, ask him to forgive your sins, and commit your life to following him, you're leaving your "old self" behind (Romans 6:1-112 Corinthians 5:17) and starting a new journey as a follower of Jesus.  He's begun something new in your life and your heart! Baptism is an outward sign of your inward new birth, it proclaims to all the world that you’re a follower of Jesus. Jesus himself was baptized (Mark 1:9-15), and so we follow his example (Matthew 18:19-20).

In addition to being a step of obedience, it’s a symbolic act. Our entrance into the water during baptism identifies us with Christ’s death on the cross, his burial in the tomb, and his resurrection from the dead. (Colossians 2:12-14)

If you're ready to take the next step and be baptized, we'd love to celebrate that with you!  Let us know!

Sunday Morning Teams

It takes SO MANY PEOPLE to make Sunday mornings happen! Serving on a Ministry Team is a great way to get to know some more people at Deep Water, build some community and stretch and grow your faith! There are many places to serve, no matter where you are in your journey. Our Sunday morning teams cover every aspect of the worship gatherings= from the moment someone walks through the door.

Serving in our community and around the world

Through our ReachOut initiative, we offer opportunities for serving beyond our four walls. Our ReachOut partners include community and neighbourhood schools, organizations, and ministries that are serving those around us, as well as churches and organizations around the word that reach the lost, and provide for physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
