Giving financially to Deep Water is simple, and allows you to invest in the work God is doing in the lives of people throughout Halifax and beyond.
At Deep Water we ask those who are on mission with us to give financially.
We aren't pushing you to give out of need or pressure. We care more about you than your money.
Generosity is a response to the love we've experienced in Jesus. It's one of the primary ways we grow in trust and freedom in our relationship with God.
By giving, you become part of something bigger:
creating space for others to find faith, hope, and a relationship with God.

Giving Makes a Difference
The Bible says in Matthew 6:24 that the top competitor for our commitment to Jesus is money.
Giving allows us to demonstrate that He is more important to us than material things.
WAYS TO GIVE
E-Transfer and Pre-Authorized Debit are our preferred giving methods
since they come with the lowest processing fees,
meaning more of your gift goes directly to ministry.

You can give both a one-time or recurring donation via our church app at the link below. (New downloads of the app currently only available for Apple.)
E-TRANSFER
You can send an Interac e-Transfer to give@deepwaterchurch.com. Please make sure to include your name in the message.
PRE-AUTHORIZED DEBIT
To have a designated amount withdrawn from your account on a monthly, bi-weekly or weekly basis, please complete the form, printable PDF available HERE, or paper copy beside our offering boxes, and attach a void cheque. Drop the form in the offering box or mail to us at the address below. We’ll take care of the rest and contact you to confirm setup.
CASH / CHEQUE
Envelopes are available near our offering boxes for cash & cheques. In person, envelopes can be dropped in our secure offering boxes.

If you would like to donate securities, you can do this via CanadaHelps. Deep Water Church has an account with CanadaHelps and will receive the proceeds from these donations.
WILL I RECEIVE A RECEIPT?
Yes! Tax receipts are issued annually for all donations over $50. Make sure we have your correct email address on file.
