EVERY SUNDAY GATHERING INCLUDES
Participating in musical worship as a congregation is an opportunity to join with God’s people, throughout history and across the world today, in declaring what is true about God and what is true about us as His people.
WORSHIP
We devote a portion of our time together to hear the Word of God being taught. In opening the scriptures we are invited to reimagine our lives in light of the story of God and the way of Jesus.
TEACHING
Communion is a symbolic act of eating and drinking in remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice for us. It is an invitation to remember the love of God expressed for us in the person of Jesus: Jesus who lived without sin, died for our sins on the cross, and rose again in victory over death.
COMMUNION
Each week, we respond through a time of prayer ministry, one-to-another. We have trusted members of our team available to pray with you at the end of each service, and space for you to respond in any way you feel comfortable.

WEDNESDAY PRAYER
Everyone is welcome to join us at our prayer gatherings. Start your day off right, or spend your lunch break in prayer. We have a short time of worship, read the Scriptures, and spend time in prayer for our church, our city, and beyond.

What about your BLT location?
In 2019, Deep Water adopted Metro Wesleyan Church, committing to the re-establishment a congregation in the same community of Beechville-Lakeside-Timberlea. In October 2022, we launched our BLT location. Since then, this congregation has grown, developing its own identity and leadership, and officially as of May 1, 2026, it will be its own established church: Halifax Church.
Our staff and leadership team did not come to this decision lightly, but spent many months praying and seeking the Lord. There was a mutual sense that the Lord was leading us to “send” our BLT location (now Halifax Church) and affirm them as a fully established church. This decision was met with much joy and anticipation about what Jesus is up to in our midst. We celebrate this Kingdom multiplication in our city. You can find them here: Halifax Church
