Riptide YTH
Riptide exists to reach students far from God and teach them how to have a rich relationship with Jesus on every school campus in Halifax.
Riptide YTH meets on Tuesday evenings from 7-9pm. During this time, there are fun games to play, teaching content, prayer, and snacks (always snacks!) with lots of great leaders, volunteers, and other youth across Halifax and the surrounding area.
Who We Are
People Are Our Heart.
People matter to us. We care about the entire family, not just the youth - although the youth are pretty dang fun! We will reach students and families at all costs and we desire all students to grow into the person God has planned for them.
Passion Is Our Pursuit.
We do everything with passion and energy. From worship, to small groups, serving… everything especially games. Sometimes that might be too much energy, but hey, can you really say you went to youth group if you leave without losing your voice?
Jesus Is Our Message.
Our purpose is to share the hope of Jesus. It’s about Jesus. Methods will come and go but our message will always remain the same. Showing students unconditional love and showing students what it means to be a follower of Jesus by simply living it out in love while teaching truth about who God is.

We know that the primary place where students are discipled is in the home. We want to do everything we can to partner with you as you seek to see your child take their next step with Jesus. Riptide starts at 7pm every Tuesday and ends at 9pm. Feel free to come a few minutes early to hang out with us as we prepare for the night.

We run from grades 7-12. With that being said, if you’re in grade 6 and really want to join us - we would love to have you.

We JAM pack our Tuesday nights. We play games, we hear a Jesus-centered talk, we worship and eat lots of snacks. There’s never a dull moment at Riptide.

Come through the Fuller Terrence entrance and there will be on of our leaders there hanging out ready to welcome you! We’re super friendly so you won’t have a hard time getting connected if it’s your first time. From the moment a student walks in our doors, we want them to feel connected, valued, and part of the crew!
